21 Days to Go and where have I been?!

I know, I should write at least a few lines about my day everyday! So I wont be keeping too much thought to myself and be wondering about it day and night, work and after work, between conversations with my friends and meeting with colleagues... I sit in my chair almost all day engrossed with my work... aha! and what else would I be doing without it?... plan my wedding? hehe... It's just 22 days from now and ... did I say 22? Oh I glanced at the clock and saw that it's already an hour past midnight so technically its 21 days to go before we say "I do"....

And how's my nerves? well, planning was made easy when I stick as close to what I wanted years ago!!! yup! 'come on dont deny it, while we are young girls, we'd use to dream about our wedding day, how we will be dressed, what's in our bouquet? stuff like that helps... as far as I know, I've always been inlove with Tulips....and so I'm making my bouquet 2 dozens of tulips in 2 shades! I'm very excited on how it'll look...

...and so today as far as my wedding preps is concerned... Ramil my fiance bought himself the last few accessories he'll need to make his outfit complete, a belt, 3 pairs of black formal socks and some white, cotton handkerchiefs. A month ago, we already had bought his black, micro-fiber coat, pants and a white Van Heusen dress shirt ... and guess what made his outfit far more expensive? haha... his necktie .... which is a fine woven, hand made tie from Van Heusen in Gold... lovely but... *sigh* it's... I don't want to talk about it... okay! It costed him like his pants does!!! haha... anyway, it's for our wedding and we wont settle for anything less!

ok that's all for now. tomorrow we'll be at the mall to see our bridesmaids shoes! ciao!

Relaxing prior to Wedding

My wedding preps is well underway and 'mind you I'm not having all that "bridezilla" thing going on! haha, my "jitters" is actually...well, so far none. I'm quite surprised at how I'm handling all these pressure and the endless follow-ups on the suppliers! I just don't know where I'm getting this "inner-peace!" Well, let me try to analyze that! Hmmnn... maybe it's because I know that I'm marrying the BEST person I know to marry, hehe... I mean after all these years that I was in and out of relationships I should know what works and doesn't work and learn how to compromise those things that I want but I wont get because apparently nothing and no one is perfect... so I will advice anyone to get on with someone who is as close to being perfect as possible because no one is perfect.

Anyway, I also have set my mind onto every detail that I want and that is a BIG help and I do trust my suppliers to deliver their best service and of course! LEAVE a room for ERROR and do think quickly how to resolve it, even if you HIRED the best persons to do your wedding, they will do certain things their way and sometimes they are not what you expect! No matter how much you discuss things over and over, there will still be something left for you to fret about!!! so... always leave a room for error, so you don't fret that much!!!

Also, I try to think that I'm a real princess for a day, or a supermodel that everyone would love to make me look good while I sit and relax and work my way to the altar! haha...

I'm totally relaxed and I will try to keep it that way.

Filipino Pride: Philippine All Stars

I recently watched (again!) the Philippine All Stars in the Hip-Hop International 2008 competition in YouTube...and boy oh boy! they're so good that watching it for the -nth time is not enough, I'm still swooning over their moves and I really have to say this in Filipino: "P***I***, ang galing nyo!" and its coming from my heart with all my love and support. *wink*wink*

As not to be biased though, I've watched the other competitors and they are pretty good too! I must say that winning a competition like that having to compete with the world's best isn't easy BUT I sure know what made the P'All Stars a winner...they've got class... they were sleek, they were edgy, they were...well, all that sort!!!

And perhaps to compare amongst the others, I've seen the Americans work their way to get even with the Filipinoes, but just couldn't. I think it was their choice of music that it was becoming boring and boring as their routine continues, and 'twas also their outfits that were like... hmmnn... I'm not sure but they looked like ... I don't know, Hotdogs? alright! wrinkly hotdogs! I mean, all those snappy moves got lost inside those super baggy clothes, it was just too heavy to look at...plus the hair of the girls...P'All Stars did that before, it worked for them but... I don't think the Americans did as well with the BIG hair!!! Anyway, I should continue on and discuss the guys from New Zealand, The Prestige... well, snappy? check. edgy?check. oiginal?... NO!!! Definitely NOT. I've seen them compete before and anyone can see that they've immediately evolved into becoming more and more like caucasian P'All Star members! They are good too but I don't know somehow all the competitors seem to have "recycled" what P'All Stars did from the past...the "motorcycle" thing? hey... everyone knows where it was seen first! It was just too painful to watch that I did not continue watching them.

...and so, my world could've been a better place IF all the competitors did their homework and "formulated" some new moves, and came out in their own image and not like P' All Star wannabes! They all got talent, they all got the skill... just have some originality, it will be more entertaining for those who watch...and it'll make your own countries proud!

newbie

I know. I know blogs has been around for ages and I recently just decided to do one...well... now that i'm a blushing bride to an awesome guy named ramil, i want to share my notes and pointers for Brides that are in the midst of their preparation...i will wander off this topic though...sometimes... or perhaps many times ha.ha. as long as i feel like talking about the world and how fantastic life around me is, i will blog it! But as for now, i'm a "Blogger Bride" this one, i can't go wrong with... I'm a bride and it should suit me well to be writing stuff about weddings and parties, though I also loooovvvveeee to do a travel blog, since I'm only missing about a few more other continents to say I've been around the world! haha and it should be interesting to know that life without Mc Donalds as a city traveler is a life in a limbo! hah! i have this thing for internationally franchised food brands, i actually feel safer packing on a few calories... okay! a lot of calories than to go to some local restaurant that might give you a serving of salmonella or e-coli ... NOT that i never experienced fine dining in Venice or food tripping in the streets of Bangkok, i just assume that when it comes to eating, i can easily settle for a Mc Donalds or KFC or whatever that is familiar and accessible, 'coz if and if i get some kind of stomach trouble i'll know who to call on to! I can probably go to America and say i had eaten their burger in ...blank.blank. city and here's what happened to me, while if i don't and had eaten some kind of bad food in ... like Thailand or Japan or even Italy, I'd spend a bbbbzzzilllion years before i could get to them... in English!!! That is of course in Theory which i practice as a "city traveler "...i kinda like those words "city traveler" it makes me feel so "cultured" and "inspiring" haha... but yeah, it works for me so...

Well... my wedding! oh! my wedding is on december 20, 2008, haha i know it's going to happen soon and is there time for me to be online and blog bits about my wedding? well.... my ideas and thoughts are running around my head like there's no tomorrow that if i don't find a way to vent it out, i'll be shoveling it out my ears to make more room for more thoughts!!! and i'd be more diligent in putting up photos whenever my "writing" isn't that good, photos are a lot more entertaining.

so, see ya again soon. 'gotta go get some coffee!

ciao!
