my BIG happy City.

Hello bloggie world! It's been a tough, tough week for me but I'm fine now...I think everyone here is keeping their spirits up and is very positive to be moving on from what the Typhoons have brought the country. Help is flooding in, that's the kind of flood we want, HELP. ^^ Everyone's been very generous with helping in kind and in prayers. Thank you all.

Meanwhile, I'm sharing you photos of Manila I took 4 days before the flood happened. Aerial shots I took while on board a plane back to the "BIG CITY", you can see the greens and the buildings and the colorful rooftops...several places there have submerged in water, but we are hopeful in restoring everything to it's beauty.

So here goes Manila's Cityscape.

This is still my BIG happy city, despite the crazy weathers!

Have a good week ahead!

Love,

Sassy

@Renee,thanks my dear friend...yes! We are doing well, thank God! We hope to restore everything to normal, you know...kids back to school, heavy traffic...yeah! I even miss the traffic..haha there were so many cars that went underwater so the traffic had been affected and our travel is a breeze! But I feel bad somehow. :)

warm hugs to you!
Sassy.

@Ces, Hello! My BIG happy city is Metro Manila, because I have a SMALL city too which is Legazpi in my Province. These pictures are mostly in Makati.

Typhoon Parma, has done little damage compared to Ketsana, we had a real Miracle, the Typhoon changed it's course and went high up...but still affecting northern provinces, properties damaged, lives lost ... but at least it wasn't the SUPER, SUPER typhoon we expected or we would've been wiped out the planet!!! ^^

@Julia, thank you! Things are doing well so far, people are very helpful with each other and that's the only good thing that the Typhoons have brought us!

Thanks for the pictures. Manila is one place I have not been, and I had no idea that it was so BIG!

What a beautiful place. No matter what happens, the city will survive, with its inhabitants making sure of it...glad to hear you are one of them.

Especially people who mess with children. What is accountable for the poor should be accountable for the rich under the law.
