Reruns of the Overkill

Yes I support all women who were abused and are fighting bravely for justice and YES I cited what the law has provided for the protection of women and children against abusive acts (in my older post) BUT no, I wont tolerate DRAMA scripts and trial by publicity! Enough okay?! The senate must stop their probe on this case and get back to working on more important things than making the video scandals even more popular because of the full coverage they're giving it. It could be settled in a courtroom where things could be kept private after all we're talking about "sensitive" issues here that doesn't need that much hype and should not be put on the mainstream for the sake of our young viewers and readers.

Besides, can you imagine what the other victims of a similar case feels? How come they don't get that much attention? And that the person involved in committing such offense doesn't get the same punishment and humiliation as Hayden Kho is already enduring?! (see? I'm naming names 'cuz I'm pissed!) It seems that justice had already been served to this guy who receives verbal battery everyday and has already been regarded as a "Persona non grata" in two very popular provinces here in the Philippines, in Bohol and Palawan, 'meaning he will get a "psychological" torture in these places and will be refused entry or not to receive any service. jeez! that is harsh. OK, harsh if harsh it is because he deserves it. But what I'm talking about is the amount of exposure that they get from these scandalous affairs they had. That we, as the hard-working, honest tax paying citizens doesn't want our senators be busy in researching and investigating these things! Hello?! Why not let the court decide on this? Miss Katrina Halili has already filed her case against the doctor Hayden Kho, isn't that supposed to be enough? Why meddle? Tell me why? why? why?

After the news of these videos broke out, I fairly understood that the issue would run for about a week! But now, it's been running headlines everyday for like a month now?!!! yuck. How this system goes. The whole thing is becoming a TV-series complete with plot and twists.

*sigh*
...Well, I am a woman too but I never make that an excuse to be fragile and be always the one in distress. If you look on the other side... you'll get a lesson. Behind this mayhem, yes there ARE lessons! Even an ordinary person without a degree in psychology could say that these things could happen to very normal people and could draw conclusions... NEVER SLEEP AROUND especially when you know that the guy is involved with another person! It's double jeopardy for the girl, that she got caught unaware of the camera while being dishonest. While the guy has NO intentions of publicizing the whole thing is also caught in double jeopardy, filming without the consent of the partner and being dishonest... so? who really should get punished? Maybe the one who reproduced and uploaded the videos, right? But still the guy has to answer to the law ... but pleeaasseee, girl! stop wallowing on your " I am a victim mode" because God knows you chose to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. So, sorry that it had happen to you and the lesson was learned the hard way!
